We are currently looking for experienced disability support Workers on the Brisbane South East to provide in home and community services.
Tasks and responsibilities
High personal care supports
Medication administration and PEG feeding
Manual handling / hoisting experience
Bowel care and enema
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience with high physical care is highly desirable but not essential
Must be willing to provide overnight supports in client's home.
Assistance with daily living tasks such as meal preparations etc.
Skills and experience
Blue card and Yellow Card
Police clearance certificate
Queensland open license and a personal vehicle
Certificate 3 in Individual supports, Tertiary qualifications in relevant community discipline will be highly regarded
Nursing background is highly regarded
Ability to do shift work including nights and weekends
Smartphone
